For IAABO Members Only ...

For you IAABO guys, for you perusal, here are the two most often incorrectly answered IAABO Refresher Exam "mechancs" questions by my local board.

Note: I got #82 incorrect.

#82 Crew of 2 Mechanics When the 15 second warning horn sounds prior to the start of the 3rd quarter, the Umpire should check with the official scorer for readiness, which includes confirming the starting players for each team to begin the 2nd half.
YES, pg. 20, Section 20-d-2 and Rule 3-3-1a

#100 Crew of 2 Mechanics The Lead official’s initial starting position should be along the endline, according to the ball/player location.
YES, p. 17-7-c, p. 24 diagram

Officials in your group did not know the Lead needs to be positioned on the end line?

Yeah, that's a real head-scratcher.

Maybe some were thinking about a transition (fast break) situation or a press/press break situation where the Lead hangs out on the sideline with the farthest back players?
