Prevent An Error ...

I answered that the official was incorrect and should not have canceled the time-out.

Yeah, I know that I'm reading too much into the question, but I'm a forty-plus year IAABO Refresher Exam veteran (never getting a perfect score but often coming very close) and know that answers often hinge on one tricky "got'cha" word.

IAABO Refresher Exams can be intentionally tricky (not sure about NFHS exams).

I'm just trying to confirm my answer.

Why would Team A want to rectify an error that benefited them?

Plus, since the rule specifies that the TO must be requested for the specific purpose, then if that were the point of the question, it would be in the question.

Finally, it doesn't matter whether you get 100% or not on the test; it matters that you understand the rule--and you do. Sp stop overthinking it and, worse, posting your overthinking.

Exactly. Thanks for the confirmation.
