This illegal play came up on Greg Austin's Better Official Basketball Rules Expert live You Tube presentation this morning.
I believe that I first watched it on the Forum many, many years ago. I initially couldn't find the video, but eventually found it.
Figured that I might as well share it with those young'uns who may not have not seen it.

Some on the live You Tube presentation commented that "leave(ing) the court for an unauthorized reason", now a violation, was a technical foul in ancient times.
I'm a pretty good basketball rules historian, but don't remember this change.
Can anyone confirm, or deny, this?
