Ihsa

I think I remember that during covid last year, at the captains meeting, only R1, head coaches & 1 floor captain(s) were to attend the captains meeting. ie...the other 2 refs were not to be included.
Is this correct procedure this year?
Thanks in advance

Depends on the specific state (and / or conference) provisions.

The IHSA position was to have only one captain and obviously one coach with only one official.

This could change any day, but that is the current procedure.

Peace

Sorry -- I didn't read that this was an IHSA-specific question.

Slide 7 of the IHSA rules presentation contains the word "officials" -- plural -- so I say they all attend

Thanks. That takes care of Idaho, what about Illinois, Indiana, and Iowa?

BillyMac, IHSA is Illinois. Indiana is the IHSAA, Iowa is IHSAA for boys and IGHSAU for girls, and Idaho is also the IHSAA.
