What do your associations use for meeting presentations and video breakdown?

Nothing is used at the association level. Not everyone is technologically savvy or knowledgeable. Presentation development is individually and if someone is more familiar with one program verse another, that is what they use. Just like you have Apple people and PC people. But nothing is used that everyone uses. Probably the only thing that people use universally is PowerPoint, but how they show videos might be everything from what is on their computer to using to YouTube.

Peace

VLC for making clips from .mp4 video files. Free and easy to use.

Movie Maker for editing, adding repeated scenes, slow motion, etc. Free as a bundled program with the Microsoft system, I think.

Screen-Cast-O-Matic to capture video from the screen when it's unavailable in .mp4 format. Very inexpensive.

Microsoft Power Point to put clips and video segments into presentation form for individual or group teaching use.

Our local association uses Hudl which has the ability to do small clips and share with the group. Even though Hudl is meant for student-athletes and coaches sharing film between each other we make it work, but it's just to clip small portions of the game. There is an option to download the game but then you'll need to use one of the editing tools mentioned above.
