Bench T?

Saw a video off late game situation here in VA where Team A is running time off the clock with a 2 point lead. A2 near Team A bench is not coming up top where Coach A wants him. Coach grabs him by the shoulders and pushes him up where he wants him. T the head coach?

Valley Man:

Only if the HC came on the Court to do it.

That said, years ago in YBOA Boys' National Championships in a 10U Pool Play game I did have a HC come out onto the Court (approximately 10 feet) and do what you described: WHACK!

You might be confusing this with baseball, where this action (physically assisting a runner) is explicitly prohibited by rule. If the coach leaves the coaching box to physically re-position his player, I would give him a coaching box warning, followed by a technical foul if he leaves the coaching box again.
