What the heck is wrong with these parents? When arrested, this person should be charged to the fullest extent of the law possible.

It appears that, in California, there's a special category of criminal behavior for assaulting a sports official:

A Redding police spokesperson is reported to have said the woman could be arrested under suspicion of assault of a referee which has its own charge. The California Penal Code shows that an attack on a referee can land you in jail for one year or up to $2,000 in fines or both.

It's come to this, sports officials needing special protection under the law; like racial, or religious, hate crimes; or crimes against the elderly.

Is there any way they do NOT find this woman? She must be known to other fans who were there. Interested to see how this will play out. Shame on that entire group if nothing comes of it.

Once the criminal justice system is finished with her, I hope this official sues in civil court for this nonsense.
