Saw a "Whack, Get Out!" last night...

...from a hockey ref!

I travelled to visit a buddy this weekend and witness our respective alma maters duel it out in a college hockey pair of games (Maine at RPI).

Near the end of the game, RPI player gets called for a head-contact penalty, a five-minute major and game misconduct (out for the rest of the game). RPI bench is angry with the call and directs something at the official. Referee whistles, and quickly signals whack, get out!

As soon as he signaled it, I beamed and immediately thought of this forum's running gag. (Maine's 5-2 win helped somewhat.) What I learned: the unsportsmanlike conduct signal in hockey is the same as our T.
