Maybe if we had a larger picture containing even more irrelevant information we could make a better determination.

That's correct. I have a pair that that I bought on the recommendation of my running shoe store. Pricey - for sure. They are very comfortable with great support. I wore then during my volleyball season, but that didn't tell me much. However, after only 2 scrimmages I love them.

That picture with Monty wearing it was all I got. I've never seen that type of "high heel/cushion" before and I wasn't able to guess the brand so I was very curious about this pair.

That's what Bill Kennedy (in the middle) wears. The picture is pretty large so you have to slide it to the very right for the shoes we talk about.

After 3 seasons in Nike shoes, I bought a pair of New Balance 990v4 for this season. I paid $161, including tax. I'll pay anything to have comfortable, well-fitting shoes.

They come in wider widths, which I compensated for in the Nike shoes by going up a half-size. I'm a 10.5 2E in New Balance and the fit is perfect.

Wore them last night for the first time. No foot pain, plenty of room to support a custom orthotic. No heel pain. Everything's great this morning. Of course, my season's 2 games old.

Curious about these Bondi 5 shoes, though. They're almost 4 ounces lighter than the NB shoes. Local store sells them, so I may go try a pair on -- I've seen online they run a size smaller than other shoes.
