NFHS Mechanics Manual?

I feel like this is a stupid question so please accept my apologies in advance. I always hear people talking about the NFHS mechanics manual. Is that just the Basketball Officials Manual, or is there something else that I should know about?

It is the book that the NF puts out that shows mechanic and procedures that officials are to follow according to the NF.

Peace

Right. My question is whether this is the Officials' Manual, or if there is another book that I should know about. If it is not the Officials' Manual that comes out every couple of years, what is it called?

It's one of the two on the second row, left and center:

National Federation of State High School Associations - Basketball

And, I'm pretty sure it's NOT the handbook.

Not every state issues NFHS Manuals even if they tend to follow those mechanics pretty closely. (Illinois doesn’t issue this Manual (per JRut). Georgia doesn’t use FED mechanics. Etc.)

Basketball mechanics are relatively simple; there’s not a ton of variation in the basics, which is different from football where states tend to differ from the NF more frequently and do things “their own way,” necessitating the use of manuals more so. It is much easier to, for example, mechanically go from high school to college or one state to another in basketball than it is in football.
