End of Game

Team A scores with very few seconds left. Team B coach requests a TO. While I'm blowing the whistle to grant the TO I see the clock says 2.2. By the time the clock operator stops the clock there are now 1.2 seconds left.

Do I have them reset it? Do I allow for a lag between the whistle and the stoppage?

If you have exact knowledge, which apparently you do, of what the correct time should be (2.2 seconds), you should instruct the clock operator to make the correction.

Lag time was removed from the NFHS rules a few years ago.

Definite knowledge. Put 2.2 on the clock if that's what you see.

NCAA has no rule for lag time either, otherwise we'd probably see less monitor stoppages at the end of games.
