That is close. Pausing it very carefully, I "think" that, while is feet were over the backcourt, he touched the ball before his feet actually touched in the backcourt.

Meh. Not a fan of the call just because I don't see how the C could have been sure. But...he had a better view than me so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.

Three good calls.

Ark vs KY -

1) 1:30 left in game, KY in-bounding and running the line, player in-bounding the ball requests a TO with his back to the L just before he reaches 5 secs. C sees the TO call and comes running in to grant it.

2) 1:20 left - F1 called on illegal screen on Ark #3.

3) 1:02 left - F2 and ejection on Ark #33.

It got heated....and Dickie V was going nuts.

1) Yes, good call.
2) IMO, common foul.
3) IMO, F1.

Indeed Dickie V going nuts.

All great calls.

1. The timeout was clearly requested and granted before 5 seconds.
2. Excessive contact.
3. Deliberate hit to the face...great call.

In watching the 5-second play again, I'm not even sure a 5 second call was being called. The T only swung his arm 3 times at the time of the whistle and had started it properly. It was certainly no where near 5 seconds. I'm wondering if both of them were whistling for the timeout and were not sure that is what each other had.

I think you're absolutely right. The baseline official raises his hand to stop the clock but does not call the violation, I think he sees the inbounder signaling, and withholds the timeout signal when he realizes its a double whistle.

No class by that Arkansas coach (Mike Anderson). He needs to STFU and stop trying to justify his players clearly dirty fouls once Shows comes over to explain. After all it's not like they just looked at it on video or anything. Dude is spineless and probably put them up to it.

Please list the right team. That is Arkansas, not Alabama. Alabama's coach is Avery Johnson, who is definitely a Class Act.

And after that flagrant-2, I would have had no problem T'ing up #0 from Arkansas when he was walking back to the bench. I would have popped him and make sure everybody in the gym knew it. I can't stand a$$holes on the court when we're trying to clean up a mess.

Absolutely concur!

Especially since #0 was involved in an incident where he was confronting/jawing with KY players a few minutes before and had to be restrained.
