Officiating shirts in the Olympics.

I have been watching the USA-China men's game and the officiating shirts are ugly.

Still better than black and white stripes.

I'd say anything is better than black and white stripes.

Maybe one day, officials will have sponsors on their shirts like the players...

Are those standard FIBA shirts, or are they special to the Olympics with the splash of Green to match?

I am a traditionalist for the most part. Even though I have worn different colors over my officiating career, but I like the simplicity of the black and white stripes. Not a fan of grays or most other colors. But I get it and see why those love those colors. I just do not like all these colors for the most part.

Peace

Hoops could go the soccer route and have 5 different colors to choose from to avoid conflicts with the teams . . .

I'm with JRut on this one...

I wear both every season...Grays for HS and zebras for MS and Rec. Personally, I prefer the zebras. Mostly because they are the most functional. Distinct enough to easily find your partners out of your peripheral...easy for the players to recognize your presence. About once a season I have a HS player pass to myself or a partner accidentally. The never happened with the zebra stripes. I never understood why the NBA or FIBA moved away from them (or our state assn. for that matter).

The reason why FIBA Referee's wearing same uniform or other uniform ,based on the Commissioner of the group.as long the official Logo of FIBA is Clear and standard of Officiating is doing well.
