Did anyone see the Duke/Davidson game on ESPN tonite? The officials were wearing NBA style shirts. When did this happen and when is it allowed.
Peace

Seen a few ACC games..........
and I have not at all seen these shirts until tonite. I have seen these shirts in catalogs, but I did not realize that anyone other them some pro-am leagues would be using them.

Duke Davidson
These shirts were approved for most, if not all, the mid-major Division 1 leagues (Ohio Valley, Atlantic Sun, Colonial, Big South) in the south/south eastern part of the country. From personal experience, they are very comfortable and I like them better than the black and white. From what I have been told, they might alter them some next year and put a third color (red I heard) in it, maybe on the collar and sleeves. Additionally, they are not approved in SEC or ACC games this year. I think it is possible that they might get approved for next year though. That game, as you know, was a non-conference game but assigned by the conference officiating supervisor for the home team.
What do ya'll think of them? I really think they look sharp. |
