I've never seen a manual for 1 official half-court mechanics, so I'm trying to conceptualize how I might work it. I don't know that I can come up with a definitive solution. The biggest advantage you have is that it is a 3-on-3 game so you don't have to worry too much about getting screened from seeing a play. I'm leaning toward working from the baseline, but I can advantages in working from the "trail" position as well. The nice thing about it being a half court game is you can move across the half court line without worrying about getting in the middle of a fast break the other way.

If both halves of the court are being used simultaneously (as in one game on each end), I'd definitely go with the baseline.
