I think it is hilarious that players were griping about rules as soon as they were introduced! Bet it wasn't too long for coaches to start doing the same. Great post.

Has anyone seen the 30 for 30 about the original rules of basketball? It's a great one

Beautiful piece of sports history. I don't know which made me laugh more, the brawl of the first game, or the radio sponsor -- Sanka Coffee!

A player could actually say, "In our last game, they didn't call that!" and they'd be right ... and not lying!
