I agree. Telling a coach I didn't know a rule is bad, but making up a rule is far worse!

Sometimes I wish I didn't know the rules. When A1 is shooting, B1 violates, then A1 airballs the shot...

You will get boo'd and everyone thinks you're making stuff up.

With the rule change, this is far less likely to happen where I can't consider B1's actions to be disconcerting.

Was more making a joke out of coaches sometimes having no idea whether you're making up a rule on the fly or not.
