Exclamation This was unexpected!

I was watching one of the 40 or so Law & Order reruns I have DVR'ed and this episode had a basketball player as a suspect. In one scene, they were talking to this player while his teammates were practicing behind him. Here's the weird part - they all were wearing uniforms with LEGAL NUMBERS!!!

I never thought I'd see that on a television show.

I was the technical adviser for that particular episode. How do you think that I can afford a villa in Tuscany? Certainly not just on my chemist's salary.

Also, I was provided, backstage, with a bowl of M&Ms from which all the brown candies has been removed.

It probably happened by pure accident. They probably used actual uniforms from an actual school.

Peace

They were just dark green uniforms with white trim that said "New York" on the front of the jerseys. They had matching shorts. I think they were made for the show, but maybe not.

Wow you were really paying attention.

I would have only paid attention to the officials if they were in the shot. Otherwise I would not have likely noticed this at all in most situations.

Peace

The suspect they were questioning was a team player and he was wearing his uniform. The other players were all in the shot, a few at a time, during the questioning and pretty much composed the background.
