Appeal at HP

In todays (May25) game in Milwaukee, Khris Davis hit a HR. After much discussion between umpires SF Mgr Bruce Bochy, play resumed with Ryan Braun moving into the batters box. San Francisco P stepped on rubber and then stepped off and while on mound threw to HP, C stepped on HP and Davis was called out for not touching HP.

Suppose Braun thinking its a pitch hits the ball.
