Joe West

Saw Joe West (I think Friday on the plate) wearing powder blue shirt with a white long sleeve shirt underneath. Never saw that before. My Assoc frowns upon that.
Thoughts?

I think it looks "bad", but I don't know the situation behind what he was wearing. Much ado about nothing, imo.

If that game was in Tex, I didn't look that close and it was probably hotter than Heck there yesterday. Chances are that was underarmor gear.

It wasn't cold there so my guess it has something to do with the sun.

His dermatologist probably frowns on any more sun exposure. Probably some SPF gear. Probably gonna be a market for color coordinated stuff though.

Wilson will start marketing it with the WV logo.

Then why not just a LS shirt?

LS usually fits looser than an UA type sleeve. In hot wx that could be uncomfortable. I could see a form fitting, sweat wicking, SPF sleeve as more comfortable. Maybe it should be flesh colored. In any case, my preference is to use short sleeves and lather the sunscreen on and take my dermatolgist's chewing out. As time progresses I might have to reconsider. Then we will have to have a fashion discussion on the appropriate color for the long sleeves under a short sleeve. I don't think I'll wear white.
