No, the batter doesn't actually have to be hit for the pitcher to be ejected without warning. I didn't claim otherwise.

My reply was perfectly accurate within the context of the post it was answering.

Do you seriously believe that I didn't already KNOW about that petty snippet of information you have so "generously" chosen to share here?
