The call itself was close. What's gross in the average fan's mind is how costly it turned out, since a correct call would have tied the game in the B9. If this had happened in the 5th inning, it wouldn't have registered a blip on the radar screen.

And "98%" of the media are flipping idiots anyway just fighting each other for the biggest byline and paycheck.
