In 1993 I officiated the Polish National Men's Basketball Team at Cleveland State University. My partner was another U.S. official and a FIBA official from Poland who was traveling with the team. First, he was a civil/transportation engineer which game was nice for me since I am a civil/structural engineer. Second, he spoke English better than my partner and me,

. Third, he told us that none of the players spoke English but each and everyone knew how to use the F-word in every possible way,
