Here is a possible lawsuit waiting to happen.

First of all it was an accident however, no fence probably would have been better than an inadequte one. Sometimes people bring on their own lawsuits. A couple of bucks more could have prevented this. Then again it was an accident.

Funny, you go to a baseball field where bats and balls fly around. You park your duff as close to the action as possible and expect to be protected. In the early days of baseball, there were signs placed warning the spectators to "Pay Attention to Flying Objects". There were no fences and there were no suits, either. Comes the modern day and people expect to be protected no matter what. As I said, funny.

Now it's written in small, fine print on the back of your ticket stubs.

I don't see anything remotely funny about this story. I think it's sad for her and a great many people. My heart goes out to them.

Nothing funny about the story. I understand what Ozzy was relating and would probably have not used the same language but his sentiment is well taken. We live in a very different world now. College coaches wear helmets for good reason - many never had a need before but few complain now. Times change. Maybe some good will come from this tragedy.

Not funny - ha ha. Funny - strange. Or funny - ironic.

I don't really see how this is a lawsuit waiting to happen, but I guess that's an American thing. Just a sad accident.
