A SWING and HBP is a STRIKE. It is simple and straight-forward There is no gray area here. Why would you choose NOT to appoach your partner (quietly and with respect), remind him of the correct RULING (not judgment, here) so he can fix it?
If he wanted to keep a batter at bat after bunting foul for a 3rd strike, would you just stay in the field and not "remind" him that batter is OUT?
