Yeah, but Tim McCarver played in the majors, so he must know the rules.

And where have you been, Steve, for the past few months? We were worried!

I have been very busy. I umpire four 9-inning NABA games every weekend, and starting my masters degree (MBA with specialization in Professional Golf Management) program in December, so I'm getting ready for that. I am also involved in a great home-based business, as well as my custom golf club repair workshop (which I've been doing for 18 years now). I have been steadily working out, losing weight (PM for details, don't want to spam) and umpiring baseball. Other than all that, I haven't been doing much

I'll post some pictures soon. I ballooned back up to 292, and from July 5th to now have lost 75 lbs! I have MediFast to thank for it! I highly recommend this diet for anyone needing to make weight or just lose a bunch of pounds fast.

$50? That would be Art, not Alex.

Sorry, but I disagree. The ball looked foul in every angle I saw. I didn't even think it was close.

You are probably right, as I just happened to pass through the room at the time and did not see any other replays other than the one McCarver was commenting on.

Doesn't make Tim McCarver any less of a douche.

It might have been foul, I couldn't tell, but McCarver called it foul prematurely, demonstrating (even in lo mo) his ignorance of the rule.

You don't have to tell me that.

And that surprises you?
