In a departure from normal umpire assignments and rotations, MLB has announced that for all games throughout the playoffs involving the Yankees, Tim McClelland will have 3rd base and Phil Cuzzi will have left field. This was in response to a request made by the Steinbrenner family to honor George and his special relationships with the umpires.
