What would you call?

Last night I was working the plate and I saw a "what if" situation that could have made for an interesting conversation with the offensive manager.

Situation:

Base hit to CF, R2 comes around to score. The throw was off line and the ball bounces about 10 feet to the right of the LH batter's box. As F2 picks up the ball and throws to 2B to get the B/R rounding 1B, R2 who scores just misses getting hit in the head by F2's throw as he bends down to grab the bat and jogs into his dugout, having no clue how close he was to getting hit in the side of the head by F2's throw continues on to his dugout. My question to you is...let's say that the stars align and F2's throw hits R2 (who already scored) in the helmet as he's trying to retire B/R at 2B. What, if anything would you call?

Unless that runner who scored did something I judge intentional to mess with the throw, I have nothing. Except a bad throw.

I had almost the exact same play happen last year, except we had multiple runners on. I think there were R1 and R2 and the batter hit a ball in the gap for a double. There was a throw home on R1, who scored. The throw was a few feet up the third base line and as F2 went to knock it down, it deflected behind R1 who had just slid into home and was bending down to pick up the bat. When F2 picked the ball up he was directly behind R1 and hesitated for a moment then threw to third to make a play on the B/R who ended up being safe. The DC came out and wanted interference on R1, but I had nothing.

Interference with a throw requires intent.

True....execpt for RLI (6.05k)
As for the OP. I've got nothing but a throwing error on the defense and a headache for the offense.

Interference, by a runner other than mentioned RLV, with a throw requires intent.

Yes, except for the running lane. Thank you for clarifying the exception. I sit corrected.
