Wraparounds on Diamond mask

Has anyone tried the Wilson wraparounds on a Diamond mask?

I have the Diamond Silver (wimpy pads) and wanted to try the wraparounds.

First thing's first. Everyone has a different shaped head and face. So what works for me may be different on your melon.

I've got the silver Diamond mask, and yes the original pads are less than worthless. I purchased a set of the black wrap arounds, and encountered two problems. One, the velcro straps really didn't match up well with the frame. It works, but it's not ideal.

For me, the fit wasn't right. The pads seemed squished and flattened out. My hat was too close to the frame, and came off with my mask. It just didn't work out for me.

So instead, I loaded it with tradtional WV doe skin, tan pads. Voila! A perfect fit. (and it looks *****en) Then I took my wrap arounds, and put them in my Schutt frame. Perfect!. I dropped a sunshade, and a small dangling throat protector to the inboard rung of each, and I'm set for the season.
