Are these a new kind of plate shoe without the leather flap over the front of them? I'm told that they have steel toes, but I've never seen plate shoes without a leather flap.

Obviously (?) you'll have to look at the pictures to determine which ones are plate shoes, and which ones aren't. The plate shoes look like orcas. Cookie, these are the ones to look for.


Do I need to hold everyone's hand to get them a deal on shoes? Hurry before all the "normal" sizes are gone (they even have a 19!)

A couple years ago, Amazon had the original WV chest protector for $30. I told everyone here about it, and the smart ones bought several. Others hemmed a hawed, and didn't pull the trigger. Do what you want.
