Watching Lowe again tonight against the Angels. BALKEDY BALK BALK BALK....That's a BALK!
|
Mark Lowe Career Statistics | Mariners.com: Stats
152 innings and he has never had a balk called on him. The problem is that there is not a lot of video available of this Mariners reliever not getting called for a BALK. |

JW, I have to ask, do you actually perform any contribution to life besides sitting around finding fault with everyone or thing?
Are you related to Mcveigh? For heavens sake man, get a job. |

My brain tells me that I have to be wrong about this but my eyes see a stinking balk. I know a stop when I see one and I know a bounce when I see one. Lowe bounces.
If there are any dvr gurus out there maybe someone can post a video of Mr Lowe. |

Rex played for Billy Martin and Earl Weaver at the beginning of his career, and Joe Torre a little later on. He also played with Lou Piniella, Dave Winfield, Cal Ripken and Eddie Murray. So Rex loves it and soaked it all up from some of the greatest baseball minds of that or any era.
And he is a great color analyst. The only guy I ever heard who sees more of what's going on than Rex was another Angel color man, and one of those greatest minds of any era: Joe Torre. |
I love listening to Hudler. He did some Division Series games a few years ago and was great at describing the game. He's also a fantastic guest on the radio interviews he gives.
Back in 96, when he was playing for the Angels, I went to an Angels game on a family vacation to Disneyland. Rex had a big game, got like 3 hits or something, so I got a Hudler jersey t-shirt on the way out. I still wear it a few times a year because Rex is that cool. |
