Agreed. That would be the absolute WORST time for BU to go have a discussion with PU. Turn around and jog to the outfield as soon as time is called for the conference.
Well now, some LL umpires I know will go stand by the mound to count warm-up pitches, then tell the new pitcher the outs, runners, etc.
I refuse to participate in these antics, and this practice is changing for the better in my area.
