I would probably wait it out until the police handle it and you are assured that there won't be a repeat incident. Also make sure you get the report number from the police and add that to the end of you incident report.

Also please don't strike them with a bat! I know it is tempting, however having them bend over and shoving it where the sun don't shine would be much more painful.

I remember that one. They asked Mike why he hit him so hard, and Mike said "he had the ball." That was great.
