Congrats, Steve. Having all the talks we've had over the years kind of gives me a special insight into just what you've endured in the past, and a unique understanding of what it took for you to turn things around. I'm sure Mamma "C" is especially proud of you, as well she should be. I'm happy for you, Steve. Truly and most sincerely happy.

Last March I got my associate's (with high honors as well), but now I finally have the B.S. degree to go along with all my BS!

I'm just pretty proud of my accomplishment, and wanted to share it with everyone here. Going back to school at my age was a lot of hard work, but it is paying off, and allowing me to embark on a new career direction. I still hope to be able to work in some umpiring next season too!
Steve Congrats

BTW since Rodney Dangerfield is no longer with us are you starring in the sequal - Back to School II

Smile

  • cum laude, "with honor" (direct translation: "with praise")
  • magna cum laude, "with great honor" (direct translation: "with great praise")
  • summa cum laude, "with highest honor" (direct translation: "with highest praise")
summa honor is reserved only for students with a perfect academic record (4.0 GPA)
