I've got a foul, batter still up......
It's a foul ball, luckily for the batter. If it had been fair, he's an easy out.
Check your book for the "bunt" definition, and you'll find a fall away from an inside pitch is not an attempted bunt. Senior |

So what exactly constitutes an offer?
I understand that in this case this is a foul ball. mick, I was a "chuter" for Uncle Sam. No more, bad knee injury.

An offer? The batter is trying to touch the ball with the bat by some movement... almost any direction toward the ball. It's a judgement thing. Sorry about the knee, but, "Thanks for being there for US. mick |

finally!
Thanks for the info. I thought it was a judgement issue, but I had not been able to find anything to support that.
mick, thank you for your support.
