Is the padding supposed to extend below the bottom of your CP? If not, it seems redundant if you have quality gear.

Tim,

In my opinion, this is not bad for players. It is defiantly not for umpires as it does not protect anywhere near as good as the cheapest CO will. Now maybe you are considering this as a BU?

I don't see the benefit for a properly equipped plate umpire. This might be a nice product for a football umpire.

I'm not considering it at all, Ozzy. I ran across it and thought it would be fun to discuss. Kind of like the soccer shin guards on the forearms debate...........
