Amazing that in 99.3% of all appeal plays.. .this happens?
WHY??? Just go step on the damn bag......... jeez....... WHY?? I think it's because adults who are coaching and managing them have taught them the fine art of the "proper" appeal proceedure. Probably the second most misunderstood baseball concept after the Balk rule(s).
