Game seven, I'm looking at what PU has got under his shirt. It looked pretty light which might be good if it was expensive but if it's the same thing as what the game six guy had I'm not buying it. No, I'm not good enough to call behind MLB, MILB catchers.

Time to go back to the balloon.

That's cool ...to each his own. I take a good punch, too, but if I wear the mask so that it just lays there, it softened a lot of blows since I started wearing it that way. Super lightweight mask worn loosely, that's what the masters say, so that's what I do, and it really works.

I happen to be looking for a new mask and I am gathering as much information as I can find on each mask. Do you have a problem with that?

I saw the 1st one.

How does one suffer a bruised collarbone from a shot to the mask?

It hit the mask on the jawline, and careened down to his collarbone. Pretty violent.

IMO if your mask is loose a direct hit will get you twice first the ball and then the mask.

Loose doesn't mean it isn't in contact with your face. What it means is that if it takes a side blow it moves instead of your head.

I had one ball come off a bat this year that took my mask off so cleanly I didn't feel a thing. If it had been tight, I would have.

Those wrap-around Wilsons are the ones. Have you tried them? Would they fit?

I'm sure they'd fit, but I just don't like the way they feel. It seemed like I was looking through two throw pillows. Perhaps I'll revisit them, after watching that shot.
