Red Sox/Rays double play

Just saw this play on the re-cap. Excellent call. B1 didn't even try to slide toward the base - he slid on a tangent off the direct base line - directly towards F6 after F6 skimmed the bag with his leg and cleared the area to make the throw to 1B. B1 also didn't even try to reach his arm back to touch 2B from his slide. He took out the leg of the thrower as a result. The throw to 1B was late - the BR was safe by a step.
