Little League Rules

Don't do it so I have a question for those that do. They cannot lead off, but can leave the bag when the ball hits the catchers glove. Can they get a rolling start from the foul side of the first base bag? What about second and third? (I hope I am being clear here)

In 9-12 YO LL: runners can leave when the ball is hit or reaches the batter, not the catcher's mitt.
No rules against a "rolling start" as long as a foot is in contact with bag when F1 hits the rubber and F2 is ready. Backing up here and lifting a foot from the base would result in a dropped hankie

Bill, my friend, haven't talked to you in a long time.

The runners leave when the pitch reaches the batter. If they had to wait till it hit the catcher's glove, they couldn't leave if the ball were hit.

(That's a joke, guys.)
