First Big Boy Game

I have been umpiring for 3 years and finally the association gave me a college-level summer game.

I have seen fastballs in the 90s but I have to admit this was really different. The players were faster (and cuter!).

I had the dish and BU and it was fun. Almost got hit at BU "C" with a line drive; did I mention I hate metal bats in the hands of muscular, almost-grown men?

The hardest thing? Players kept calling me "Ma'am".
