If a poster has private messages enabled, he will get a notification the next time he signs in to the board. Therefore a post saying "you got a PM" is redundant and unnecessary.

Don't read anything into this, Rita. The board has been having some problems with some of the reprobates and the administrators have to use their powers now and then. In time, the offenders will realize that they are just not welcomed here and be on their merry way.

I don't follow this. She left a message in a thread sent to "Eagle Eye," which is Rodney. brian curtain replied in his place being a smarta$$, then the thread got deleted. Nowhere did Rodney get any chance to reply.

What does this have to do with reprobates?

What Rich said was technically correct. Leave a message in the private message area and it will be received next time he comes on the forum.

good thing it got deleted, as it would get deleted on any other website on the internet. complete WOBW

How do you arrive at that opinion? I don't have any specific data, but my guess is that I delete as many posts from them as from anyone. And, I know that I don't give fitump any benefit-of-the-doubt, especially when it's a response to certaini other posters with whom he has a history (nor do I give any benefit of the doubt to those other posters in similar exchanges).

On Rita's OP -- maybe I should have just closed the thread instead of deleting it. But, I thought that EagleEye had responded and the thread had served it's purpose. Since it started down a path that would have required some moderating, I took the easy path of closing it.

well when 1 person makes personal atacks constantly n also n poeple who arent here to defend themselves(yes i pick at him but i only respond to what HE says first and he can always defend himself) and the other takes up 80% of any givin thread by posting 3-6 times in a row w nothing of substance that math is there to be done

but this is clearly my PERCEPTION and opnion so guess thats how it has to stnad. wont comment anymore on it
