missing first base
Came up in a dinner room discussion....
Bases loaded 2 outs. Batter hits fly ball over centerfielders head. Ends up with an "inside the park" HR. Defense appeals that batter missed first base and BU agrees. Do any runs count? What if it was "over the fence" HR? OBR. |

That's 10 bucks and a three day wait. This was free and got my answer in less than an hour. Me no coach baseball anymore, all my free NF books are long gone.... What if there were no outs at the time? |

the key to remember in a sitch like this is w/ two outs...a runner must legally reach 1B before any runs can score...that's why zero runs score.
