Long sleeves?

The greatest risk may be skin cancer.
Would long sleeves be justified or are long sleeves discouraged in favor of sunscreen?

Just load up on a high SPF sublock, one that blocks both UVA and UVB rays.

Long sleeves

I have a couple of sets of long sleeve UA undershirts. They keep you cool and protect you from the sun. Always remember to use sunscreen on the exposed areas of you neck and face.

If you do this, you should watch out for becoming hyponatremic (low sodium blood concentration).

Mixing in a few salt tablets or using a Gatorade-type sports drink will usually prevent this.
