Wendelstedt's rules and Mechanics manual

Hi All:

On this and other Forums when answering rule questions we often respond with authoritative opinions form EVANS, MLBUM, RODER, PBUC abd Carl's BRD.

We also know that Evans JEA and the MLBUM are not available to the general public.

Wendelstedt's umpire rules and mechanics manual is available to the general public.

Does anyone have a copy?

If so, does Harry's manual contain similar info as Evans and the MLBUM?

For those that do have the book is it worth it?

In other words I have yet to see Harry's book referenced when answering rule questions.

The book started shipping 6/25. I received an email message today from the school. Apparently there was a publishing mess-up, there were shipments made without the mechanics portion of the manual.

The "rules portion" should start showing up soon. Then maybe your questions will be answered.
