I have had the Pro nine protector for three years now and it has held up to every shot. I work legion to LL ball and it has been fine for protection even with some DII kids throwing for the Legion teams.

Hey all,

As a former user of the Pro-Nine, BUY A HARD SHELL!! From my experience, this cp shouldn't be used for any thing over LL Minors, maybe Majors.

I have the pro nine cp. I've been hit a few times with foul balls and have yet to feel any pain. I know a few minor league umpires that have it, that's why I got one.
