High School Pay for Baseball

I have noticed that there are many different states represented in this forum. I am curious as to what the pay is like for Boys Varsity Baseball in your areas. In Illinois it ranges from $35-$50 per one 7 inning game. For DH'ers the schools will take away $5-$10 claiming that you are already there. Let me know what you umpires get if you would.

I have been paid $56 for all my HS games except for one and I live in Illinois. So you might need to update that range.

Peace

I don't know if all associations in Ohio pay the same (probably not), but in the Elyria Assn., we get $50 per game (regular season). The assigner gets $5 of that. (So we get $45.) It doesn't matter if its varsity, JV, Freshman or Jr Hi. It doesn't matter if it's a doubleheader. It doesn't matter if it's a 2-man crew or if you are working alone. Same deal for softball.

Varsity - $75.67
Sub-Varsity (all) - $49.17

This is now the 4th time this question has been asked since January of this year. Maybe we try the "SEARCH" command and see if the question has been asked within say 6 months!

In addition to the "Search" feature it's also possible to select "Next Thread" and skip a post. Also, there is no obligation to reply to everything you read.

To each their own.

In the northwest suburbs of Illinois we get $56 for a single 2 man varsity, $53 for a one man under level game. As for doubleheaders, varsity 2 man is $98, underlevel one man is $93. In the summer all doubleheader games are 2 times the single rate of $56 for high school summer leagues.

I don't work that much in the spring...our HS season is short. 1st part of April until Memorial Weekend...then playoffs...but unless you know somebody you're not getting playoff games no matter how good you are...state tournament is a little different though...do coaches rate you through the State during your HS season. We are rated here in MN
