These fees are for Section One, which covers Westchester, Rockland, Putnam and Dutchess. As I understand it the Sections on Long Island are the highest paid in NY state, making at or just over $100 per game for the varsity level. NYC public schools is also slightly higher than us at almost $1oo per game. At the end of our current contract 2010 we will be making $101 per game froa varsity contest. That is for football, baseball, basketball, softball and Lacrosse.

Yes, Varsity on Long Island is over $100 per game for each umpire (there are 2) and $86 for Junior Varsity. You get about 16 games at the varsity level and between 20 and 30, depending on your availability at JV. You can do Junior High games for $67.50 when the seasons are done. There is a fee and half for a one man game at all levels. With all this, there are still not enough JV and JH umpires. Summer ball pays at least $50 to $60 depending on the age level and the Men's leagues $70 or more depending on the league.
