i'm not sure i agree with you sir...the technology out there for both hot and cold is pretty amazing...though i'm sure each person's body reacts a little differently to different elements..

that is if you choose to cool your house from the inside...my house stays plenty cool in the summer if I don't open the shades during peak sun...i also believe that insulation keeps cool air in...and warm air out...to a point of course...

and I do think at this point we're splitting hairs...it's personal preference...

For those who think layering or additional clothes make things hotter, consider why those who dwell in the desert wear layers of black and not white.

Nope, nothing to do with religion.

in 100% of all instances?? doubt it...but i'm not interested in a debate about what nomads wear in the Sahara desert versus what an umpire should wear to work a game to be comfortable.

Did I say "100% of all instances"? No. Don't assume.
And you should be interested, because the reason why black is worn in the desert is very similar to why umpires wear undergarments in the heat. |

For those of you that don't know, UA makes v-neck shirts in their heat gear line. The only thing is you have to go to a police or military gear website to get them, as they are from their tactical line. Same price, though, with the added benefit that the logo is the same color as the shirt.
I am afraid, however, that they only come in black and white (unless changed recently). But, since the v-neck doesn't show, those of you wearing light or navy blue shirts should be OK. |
Personally, I'd like them to have their loose fitting heat gear shirts in the mock turtleneck style, like McDavid does.
