The bound copy of the 7th Edition will be published after Major League Baseball approves its new rules interpretation section of the umpire manual.

Information will be posted on a website, http://www.rulesofbaseball.com.

This site is not up yet, but when it is, the new book will be available.

I would advise purchasing that copy when it comes out. It will have added features, such as a self-directed rules course with various skill-level questions.

Rog that's the big question: When is MLB going to approve its new rules interpretations? Once we know that, we can get a rough estimate as to when the book will be ready.

Anyone have any knowledge of when MLB plans on their re-write?
